I downloaded the newly released Portal: Still Alive demo from Xbox Live tonight.
If you've got a nice sub that can handle subsonics below 20hz, definitely check it out. Best bass I have heard, period from any form of media, Movie or otherwise.
My DIY 14 cu foot 18" Mach5Audio is tuned to 14hz. I'd say 90% of the bass being produced was from the ports (on or around the tuning frequency) so the bass is definitely in the lower teens if not lower.
It appears the background music is producing this ultra low frequency. They also have a mix of mid-subbass (30 - 60hz) upon jumping on the people movers. Pretty intense.
I may run some waterfall graphs this weekend.
