A guy at work has a Mirage BPS-150i that will not power on. It was working but just quit. He has a red led that is lit on the AMP. Looking at the manual it does not have a auto on/on switch, it is built into the AMP.

Are these subs known for the auto on/on circiut dying ? He has had the sub for at least 8 years.
