Hey Guys,

I have been reading this forum for the past couple of weeks thought I would finally register. I just recently started to convert the bland basement home theater into an actual theater. I just picked up a Christie Vista S3, also known as Runco VX-4C. Just finished building the screen and getting the audio hooked up. Had to build a rig for this 100lb monster. Below are some pics of the progress.

My home built screen. Its 105". Used black-out cloth and leather to wrap the 1" by 3" frame. Looks like a monster plasma when running.

The 10lb Christie Digital/Konica Minolta 1.5-2.21 anamorphic lens. This thing is a beast.

Within the next couple of weeks the seating should be in as well as 'theater' type accents. The projector itself runs amazing. I have to run the lamp power at minimum or you need sunglasses when playing Xbox 360 NHL 09. The ice is blinding! :)

This has been an awesome project. I can see why there is more and more people getting into home audio/video. Can't wait to finish this thing off.

Cheers!

Looks good, leather wrapped trim that's a unique approach.

That is a monster projector seems like it would give off a great image. Is that a seperate lens or part of the projector. You mention anamorphic, does it handle 2:35 or is because it's a native 4:3 projector that it need a anamorphic lens?
