I'm a 20 year old college student looking to put together my first REAL setup, as right now I kinda just have everything connected and operating, a huge cluster and a mess. I've pretty much got everything electronics-wise for my set-up, which will include..

LG 42" 1080p 120hz LCD(42lg70)
Onkyo 5.1 Surround System
Time Warner HD Box
Onkyo upscaling DVD player
Xbox 360

I also have a Sony Vaio that I will be connecting via VGA to the TV when I feel like watching a video from online on the TV.

I'm going to be moving into a bedroom thats about 11x9 ish with with a pretty big closet that has mirrored doors top to bottom. This room thankfully will not have to include a desk for study as that we now have an extra room because my brother is moving out(thus getting me the better room). All I want to have in this room is my bed(twin size, not that big), a couch to sit 3 people, and my equipment set-up.

What would be the best way to set-up my speakers? Place my bed? Place the couch? I'll attach a paint doc that I made real quick to give you guys an idea of what I'm working with. Each X indicates where I'd like to put the speakers, but if thats a bad spot for them or something is off in this set-up, please, CORRECT ME!

Thanks in advance.. I'll have all the pictures WITH the painted room up Nov. 16 for everyone to see! :)

The reason I say so is so I dont compromise the audio in the bedroom because I'd like my bed to be as much of a sweet spot as the couch is, but the couch is my main priority.

Hehe.

To Op:
Move the couch to the wall by the door.
Move the Bed where the couch was.
Move the Stand where the Bed was.
Scoot the table closer to the couch.

Then...Place Left Right and Center speakers at the stand.
Place left and right rear speakers where the couch is.
And then,,,Subwoofer behind the couch or cornered at the wall closest tothe couch...

The spot where you want me to put the couch has a 2 big sliding mirror doors for my closet. ;)
