Hi I am planing to build this inflated LCD wall and I wonder if it is a good idea to recessed my power subwoofer in the wall.
Would this shake the wall and the LCD attached to it ? Of course I will be using both Sonopan and Roxul Safe 'n' Sound for the sub compartment and the wall.

For and application like that you're going to want to use a front fire and/or front ported sub otherwise you will loose a lot of your low frequencies since it has nowhere to go.

Thanks for your reply Triaxtremec, This might sound stupid but can you turn a down fire Sub to be a front fire and install 4 new Subwoofer support pad ?

Another partial solution is to lift the sub a bit (longer feet) so that the total cross sectional area exposed to the room equals the area around all 4 edges when it was sitting in the open. In other words give it "someplace to go" with the same air resistance as the original design.
It may sound just fine to you even though you could measure the difference if you had the equipment.

I may have the same issue...the alcove for what was supposed to be a second fireplace According to the builder anyway) is directly behind my scren wall and the SVS cylindrical sub I have probably won't work out too well in there, so I'll need to move the screen wall out enough to get the sub more into the room.
(note to BIG - hint, hint)
