Last night I tried to hook up my PS3 which defaults to 480p to begin with.
But my Nec couldn't sync no matter what I did. I got flashing screen every five secs with a picture but never synced to it.
I have memory entry(s) for 1080i,p and 720 but not 480p. So How do I get it synced so I can set up a memory for it?

Just when I thought I knew all about my XG here I am. I felt like a fool!:)

Are you using HD-Fury or ?

Component input is what I am using.
I thing there should be a combo keys that might force the XG to sync.

I use component on my PS 3 before I get the HD fury. No problem at all but only 1080i.

I have a few similar issues every now and then.

I have HDMI out to monoprice switcher to hdfury GE to kimcoder and when I switch from the XMB to the BD movie it resyncs EVERY DAMN TIME. Soooo annoying.

Sometimes if I switch between the XMB to BD and back to XMB it will stick to 480p which I don't have setup and I have to switch inputs on the xg to make it wake the F back up for some reason.

Man I need to simplify this signal chain...sigh...
