I am looking for a Device that can play HD Media just like my Xbox 360, Divx, Xvid WMVHD rips, Mp4, HD-DIVX Etc...I have my xbox in the livin room and want something for my bed room, and office, Looking to spend $150, any more than that and I am better off getting another 360. If anyone has something in mind that would be great.
Thanks :)

I'd probably just get a 360 from ebay or Amazon....you can find the core model for around the price you're looking for.

This might work, Just saw this @ Best buy
Western Digital - WD TV HD Media Player

It says it supports mkv files, which a big plus :)

Yeah, this just came out and is already on backorder from BB. It's on sale for $99 though. Also plays VIDEO_TS folders. This looks to be exactly the solution many have been looking for.
It's a bit more, but I use a Popcorn Hour A-110. I've yet to come across a file type or codec it couldn't play.

There is another forum that is completely infested with talk about the WD device.

Obviously, to the people who create these forums, there's a great distinction between them. But they're pretty similar to me. So I simply read both forums.

Look for PS3s with a fragged Blu-laser. The drive won't work, but you can stram all day long with SW like PS3 media server or TVersity. TVersity lets you copy videos to the PS3 hard drive too.
Just a thought.

Your better off getting a 360 arcade version, they are 170 bucks from dell, you can't beat that price. They subsidize the hardware costs. The is a sale code floating around somewhere. 15% off consoles.
