View Full Version : MM36100 HD video input processor issue?

We recently moved into a new house and my RCA MM36100 has been in storage through the summer. I'm running a DirecTV HR20 DVR into the DTV HD input using an Audio Authority 9A65 component to RGB video converter.

I've seen numerous posts on the forum here of people doing this with other equipment using a component to RGB transcoder to convert the video but sometimes it's necessary to center up the picture via the setting in the service menu.

I don't think that's my issue here because my video using the DTV input is warped at the top of the screen, kind of an S shape or curling of the video at the top, I've tried every setting in the service menu and none even came close to straightening out the video. If I take the same RGB out into a computer monitor it looks fine, no warping of the video.

Also, if I bring up the TV menu the menu is perfectly square and looks fine. So it's only the incoming video that is bad or isn't being converted/processed properly.

Any ideas?
