I have a russound system upstairs in my home. My idea is to get a pc to control the russound system instead of the keypads around the house. The PC would run (Cinemar or the like?).
But my dilema is I want the PC to display on a tv downstairs that way I can control music throughout the house.
Now the easy solution is get a media extender ... but the issue is I want to have a music subscription service like rhapsody or microsoft to be controlled from downstairs and be distributed through the house and I didn't see any media extenders that would work like that.
Is the only option to have a PC running a Russound Control software (Cinemar?) and another PC downstairs and do a "remote desktop connection" to the PC upstairs or is there some other hardware for Russound distribution that could let me do this?
