Ok Im getting closer on being done. Some where in the design process and reseach I decided that I needed two runs of cat 5 to ths front of the stage.
Anybody have and Ideas what as was thinking or maybe overthinking which is real easy to do with this forum
May be it was to hook a laptop to the network.?

Would we work dies it use a ct5 commcetion. The wife has talked about gettig one?

Cat5 would be used for several functions:
1. Screen masking control;
2. Curtain motor control;
3. IR repeater system.

I hope that yellow Romex poking out of the wall is not for 120v power. Can't do that. It must be terminated in a box behind the wall. Now if you are using a surface mount box, Oh, it's OK. Just don't let an inspector see it!

actually it goes into a box located in the front panel.

Haven't done it but I will need to when I am finished with my theater. I just did quick research on it and I think a few people spliced their WII sensor into a Cat5 line and it worked. I ran the line in case it does work. If it doesn't then I'll just go with the wireless sensor.
