My DVR doesn't seem to like conerting the DVR-MS files to MPEG2. Can I stream XviD or DivX? I have heard the rumblings about needing a code for DivX, is XviD an option?

If not TVersity, does another product do this? zetram 11-01-08, 04:59 PM Maybe even better, does someone have an idea how to get TVersity to transcode the DVR-MS video and stream it to the PS3 in a format it likes? If not TVersity, does another product do this? Tversity does it on my pc? Do you have the latest version? Do you have it set to never transcode? It sends dvr-ms to my ps3 as mpeg2 files. TornadoTJ 11-03-08, 05:43 PM It is set to transcode when needed. I've been trying to get this to work for a long time. I've tried "never" in the past, but not since 1.0. Where do you have yours set? zetram 11-03-08, 10:59 PM mine is set "when needed". Do you have ffdshow downloaded? You'll need those for the transcoding TornadoTJ 11-04-08, 04:30 PM Yup, ffdshow installed. Also, I'm on 100mbps wired. TornadoTJ 11-06-08, 03:55 PM Well, GBPVR released an update that had some tweaks for the TS Mux. I converted to the TS Mux, which of course records a .ts file (not sure what it is, if you know, speak up). Now streaming works great! |
