Well I have been lurking around on the boards for a while and finally decided to register and make a thread about my theater REDO. I started on this theater about a year ago with a finished basement made for a big crt tv. With a recess for the television and everything. Well decided on getting a screen and projector and ended up with a 96" carada screen with the hc3000 projector. And using a Denon 2807 receiver. But i later took out the recess and made it a flat wall and bought a 124" screen. Now all of this worked fine but it was all half-a**ed by myself and after seeing fellow member "koach" theater i was completely ready to fix everything. His basement is the inspiration for my redo and he has been very very helpful by answering any questions that i have about his theater and i would just like to thank him for that. I will link his thread once i have 3 posts. But if someone else can in the meantime that would be great.

Now i have a lot to complete and i am open to many ideas as i have yet to start . I was thinking of putting drywall on a dropceiling grid and just reinforcing the grid to hold the extra wait. I have heard both positive and negative things about this so any input on this would be great. Thanks everyone on reading all of this and all of the info on this site so now on to pictures.
