I'm currently pre-wiring my new theatre room for 7.1. I have a "games" room next door that I will likely want to have some music in. I have precabled 2 inceiling locations. I have home ran all the cables but how would I wire in these 2 remotes to a 7.1 receiver? It will likely be a Sony 920 receiver.

THoughts? Thanks!If you are going to be using all 7 amplifier channels of your receiver for your HT, you will need some sort of external amplification to power those speakers with your receiver's Zone2 pre-outs (provided it has them).

I have an Onkyo 505 and it has 7.1, but when you switch on the 2 remote speakers, you drop back to 5.1. It has no preouts for the individual channels, just the sw. It is entry level so I guess it is the lowest you will find. What ever you get will be this or better.
