Ripped a dvd series using Imtoo dvd ripper to avi files but when i go to play them on the box it gives me a an error "this file is not suported .unsupported Video co. MP42." converted with Imtoo dvd ripper Ultimate 5 msmpeg4 v2?

is there an update for these files to play?:confused:

I don't hava Tvix but I am using a PS3 as a media server. I had the same issue with the PS3 initially and solved it by working backwards. I found a file that worked. I then checked the format and codec. Then found and encoding software to make the files the same. There are lots a shareware encoders and lots you can trial and buy ones as well. I am not that savy with regards to encoding so I purchased my encoder. I could provide you with some names for both shareware and purchased. Let me know.
