I'm installing a budget concsious theater in a spare bedroom which has a small, typical closet that's 2d x 3w x 8h. This is currently our starter home that we'll hopefully be selling in a few years so I don't want to dump a ton of money into it or do any major modifications. What I am wanting to do is build some sort of equipment rack in the closet that will allow me to access the rear of the components. Otherwise, I don't know how it would work.

I was thinking of building one of the threaded rod with washer and nuts equipment racks and having some sort of method for it to swivel around at the base. The rack doesn't have to be huge (5' tall max, and that's pushing it).

Another thing I'm going to do is run a dedicated 20A circuit into the closet, with the help of my father. This is a ranch so above the closet is attic and I was thinking of installing either a vent for the hot air to escape to or a vent+fan combo. If I do the fan can I run it off the same 20A circuit and just install a switch inside the closet? Seems feasible to me. Also, any recommendations on the vent fan or should I just get a bathroom style one that's not noisy?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Bath fan and a line-voltage temp-sensitive switch (as you might find for an attic fan application) will set you up.

In the wintertime, you probably want to dump the heat into some conditioned part of the house, for two reasons:
1. Free heat
2. If you dump into an unconditioned space, you will force that same amount of makeup (replacement) air to be pulled into the house past cracks and other leaks, further increasing your heating load and adding drafts to the house.

Also, those threaded rod "racks" don't have a lot of torsional rigidity to be suitable for regular swivelling of the rack. If you have to have it swivel, get a traditional rack.

Rack close to speakers/tv?

Is the rack ok close to tv or should I move it away from the display area? Here are some pictures of my setup:
