Hi ,please help me out,the pjs in my house are going down one by one.

I Have a very fresh(150 hours)retro 808s that is out of focus on all three colors.I have just converged and focused it,and was playing a ps3 game with it.until the focus slowly went off on all three colors,looking in to the tubes one sees that is out of focus.

Have swapped out the quads ,eht ,g2 board,smps,h def board,focus shift board and just for the sake of it conv driver and output board and astig boards.What can cause all three tubes to get out of focus ,and the image seems to slightly trying to go in and out of focus,as if turning the lens incremently.where are the caps i should look for in regards to this problem,or is it something worse.

Try swapping the HV splitter. You've covered everything else. DOes the focus control have effect on the tubes in the middle zone?

Hi Curt,Thanks for the quick reply,I will try to swap the HV splitter.

The focus control (center)does have an effect on the whole image(grids),but still the focus is off,and "modulating" slowly.Pushing the controls way up or down doesn't help much,the control just changes the level of its' blurriness.
