I have been in a search for reasonably priced lighting for my theatre room and wasn't having very good luck. That is until this weekend my daughter asked me to go to Ikea with her to look at some bedding, while shopping I ran into these and am extremely happy and wanted to share my good fortune with anyone else looking for lighting. PS I purchased 10 of these for the staircase going down to the room and for the walls in the room.

That's a nice price. What'd you think of the quality? "Some IKEA stuff is pretty good, some of it is less so" he said as politely as he could.

The quality of these lights really didn't seem any different then the lights at Home Depot or Lowes and they had them priced at 29.99 or more. However I did go by Ikea again the other day so I stopped and picked up two more lights for parts just in case, now this way they should last me longer then I feel the time will be that I want to do another remodel on the room. :)

Great bargain!
Just a heads up, I see that the bulbs are candelabra base. Same as the kenroy Leonardo's that I have. After several experiments I determined that the GE frosted globe reveal bulbs cast the best light on my walls. I first tried the clear flame shaped candelabra bulbs I had sitting around and they cast a very harsh and unforgiving (showed every imperfection) light on the wall.
Then I tried a globe frosted which was better. Finally a GE frosted globe reveal which had a whiter light and looked best with my wall color.
Only problem is the bulbs are about 50% of the price of those fixtures.

Well the lights sound nice but would probably put me out of my budget (very slight) I was thinking that maybe some burnt orange bulbs might give me the effect that I was looking for. The wall lights will be on a Lutron Remote Dimmer as well as my Halogen Track Lights (separate however).
I was kinda hoping that I would get the old verses the new effect with the lighting! The track lighting will reflect off of my screen that is a fixed elite matte white screen behind the screen the wall will be a flat black carpeting that I found and seems to absorb light very effectivly and is quite reasonably priced!
I am now on the search for an in wall interface box if anyone has any good idea's?
