This is a great update, hopefully it won't be long before it is ready to go.

The prone movement speed alone is huge. Feels like those guys are stuck in molasses right now.

All of this is great but sounds more like it should have been pre-release final polishing. I could have easily waited a few more months myself.

I could have easily waited a few more months myself. Then you can wait a few more months for the patches that will make the game they way it would have been if delayed further, while we enjoy it in the meantime :)

I hope they also fix the gun not being in the hand bug where it shows your character with your hand way up above your gun. That and the sound bytes for gunfire not turning off. It's awesome that they are also listening to the people and changing some stuff that can't really be described as buggy, but just "could be better." I'm liking the support slant 6 is offering.

i agree, it was obviously rushed with many flaws. i am sure it will be great but it should be that way from the start.

That was suppose to be the beta's job, it could have been extended and expanded to include everyone for a few more months. With SOCOM, there are really good players that can work-through the 'crap' and still own others. I'm unfortunately not one of them. Lag and glitches really hurt my FPS game. Also, I purchased the disc which is now 450MB short of being 'right'. Yes, I should have just downloaded this one like, GT5P. Just saying, no big deal. The game is still getting better and better.

When everything is patched up and all the kinks are worked out this game will be awesome. Right now it's fun but there's a lot of room for improvement. I was very frustrated by the servers going down numerous times when I first got the game. Then last night the same episode of "NETWORK INITIALIZATION FAILED" happened again. The patient will really appreciate this game down the line but for right now this game is probably half of what I could be. So much potential that hasn't been fulfilled!
