Hey all. I figured this was the most appropriate forum to post in.
My question is: As a cable television subscriber, with a standard def rear projection television, will I see an upgrade in quality over the standard analog transmissions?
I don't have a cable box, instead I have just the standard RF coaxial cable that runs straight from the wall, into my tv set.
I've also read that the new ATSC standard will allow for many different resolutions and aspect ratios, will my tv just simply automatically detect the right signal and display it correctly?
Thanks for the help!
