In my opinion, the live webstream of the seven European main-stream news media "official" partner channels on the beta www dot livestation dot com IPTV looks and sounds pretty darn good on my 60" display. I am very impressed with the apparently free Livestation service.

Have also noted that they responded positively to my hypothetical question if their service would provide a free, free live webstream of certain professional development lectures.

Elsewhere on AVSforum there are just a few brief comments regarding "user" provided content on (beta) Livestation, as opposed to the seven "official" partner main-stream media news (IP)TV channels.

Sure is great to see ITN (Independent Television Network) out of U.K., France 24 (English language broadcast out of Paris, France), Russia Today (English language), Al-Jazeera (English language out of Doha, Qatar & Singapore & London, U.K. & Washington, D.C., USA), BBC WorldService (audio), and some parts of the globe also can access C-Span, EuroNews, etc.

In my opinion, presently the quality of the live stream of the "official" news partners on (beta) Livestation exceeds the demonstrated Micro$ Silverlight 2.
