2.52 Update (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/11/04/ps3-firmware-v252-update/)
Hi, everyone, I wanted to give you a heads up about an upcoming PS3 firmware update (v2.52). This minor update is coming soon and includes the following:
The playback quality of some PS3 format software has been improved.
A text entry issue that occurs when using the on-screen keyboard, USB keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard with some PS3 format software has been addressed.
Just released.

could it have anything to do with fallout 3?
Wish they'd make the update automatic.
Less of this 'do you agree to these 100000 lines you will never read rubbish?'.
The update and PSN store is always very slow, uses hardly any of my bandwidth, takes forever.
probably one of those low key updates for some game stability or enhancement.

Thanks but I have it in my first post. All you had to do was click the "2.52" at the very top.

I wonder if they fixed the media center issues... I get some bogus 7522 error or something ever since the last update... I researched it a while back and hundreds of people were getting it after the update. the fix was lengthly, so i'm hoping just an update can fix it. is this the one?!

Must be something with my ISP.

Or your modem/router.
Nah, I have no trouble using my full bandwidth while DLing from torrents, or while playing games online... I'm guessing there's just some SNAFU between my ISPs network and whatever the update servers are on.
Although I'm still going to keep messing with some settings, because it's all I can do on my end.
