Hi all,

i have a voice patch panel that i want to add some phone lines too

i have 3 wires out of the phone box

two of them have 6 wires in(3 pair) and two phone lines on each of them.
the 3rd wire the thicker one has 12 wires in it (6 pair) and this one again has two phone lines on it, just on this cable i dont know where to patch the relevant wires cos the patch panel only colour codes for 6 wires

the 12 wire has

orange / white orange
blue / white blue
green / white green
brown / white brown
grey / white grey
red / red blue

the patch panel has sockets for 6 wires
brown / white brown
green / white green
blue / white blue

for each of the 6 wire cables do i put 3 wires into one patch hole and 3 wires into the other patch hole?

and for the 12 wire cable, so i put 6 in one and 6 in the other? only i dont know which 6
