Amazon is selling this in Blu-ray for about $7 less than the DVD version.
Is this a first? I hope it's not the last.

View Full Version : Priceless with Audrey Tatou - cheaper than DVD Norde 11-08-08, 12:28 AM Amazon is selling this in Blu-ray for about $7 less than the DVD version. Is this a first? Is the movie any good? zinfamous 11-08-08, 03:06 PM Why would you want to see a dubbed version? andreasy969 11-09-08, 07:20 AM I see it comes with an English sound track. Has any one seen the English version? Is the movie any good? Why would you want to see a dubbed version? The English audio is just an amazon mistake. Both, the blu-ray and the DVD, come from First Look Entertainment. And since the DVD contains French audio, the blu-ray contains French audio (only), too. See these specs for the blu-ray http://www.laserzone.ch/dvd/detail/1555841.htm and this review http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDReviews42/priceless_blu-ray.htm. bobbyg1983 11-10-08, 11:40 AM My girlfriend and I went to see this movie, it's a great little romantic comedy. I thought it was quite funny, and obviously Audrey Tatou is as sexy as ever. :D I've got the blu pre-ordered, actually really looking forward to seeing this again. audiotomb 11-10-08, 01:43 PM i did a blind buy pre-order rotten tomatos really liked the movie and I'm a big Amelie fan (when is this coming to blu?) andreasy969 11-10-08, 02:14 PM i did a blind buy pre-order rotten tomatos really liked the movie and I'm a big Amelie fan (when is this coming to blu?) November 18th - but axel has already shipped mine :). Brent L 11-16-08, 04:31 PM is this possibly true? http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDReviews42/priceless_blu-ray.htm Extras: Now, there are some extensive deleted scenes and short outtakes but neither are offered in English (French with no subs) and although seemingly inaccessible from the Menu system - I was able to view a 25-minute 'Making of...' through my computer - although it too is English unfriendly. So, nothing really although I did get a kick out of the 5 minute bloopers (outtakes.) How in the world could they release a foreign film, in the USA, without English subtitles on everything? I don't even know if I've ever even seen this before. |
