Ohio State at Northwestern, ESPN2 HD via FiOS. PQ is some of the best I've seen from ESPN. The main cameras seem to be higher and more zoomed out than most broadcasts, and it allows a much better view of developing plays. Two thumbs up.

Penn St vs Iowa OTA Los Angeles

Looks fairly clear for a 720p broadcast. Even the main cam looks decent

OU - TxAM: The announcer just said, "I hope you're watching this in high-definition, because it's just beautiful out here."

Someone didn't get the memo.

I don't know if ESPN lifted the blackout or someone just made a mistake, but here on FiOS TV in Dallas we have ABC showing Oklahoma/A&M in SD, ESPN SD showing Penn State/Iowa, and ESPN HD showing Clemson/Florida State.

On ABC, the commercials seem excessively loud and some are missing the center channel, both on D* and over-the-air

I'm watching FSU v GT on Directv and I'm getting intermediate pixelation where the picture breaks up slightly. Is anyone getting intermediate pixelation?

I understand that ABC can only send two HD feeds at a time. Can ESPN only do one? I was wondering why Penn St vs Iowa was only been shown on ESPN SD here.

Why can't ESPN-HD have an a and b feed so that the people getting Clemson at Florida State on ABC HD could get Penn State at Iowa on ESPN-HD as the B feed?

That is correct ESPN can only send one at a time. The reason for the limitation is slightly different then the reason for ABC, but in the end it is only one feed at a time for ESPN.

WABC-DT switched to Clemson at Florida State and the abc bug is the clear bug used during primetime programming not the regular solid black bug.
Is this the same for everyone else?

Anyone else seeing a lot of noise on one of the on-field cameras on the OK State-Texas Tech game? Most of them seem nice and clear, but one they use for closeups after the play is really bad. WFAA Dallas via FiOS.

Comcast, South of Boston

Has anyone else noticed the difference in quality of HD between ABC and ESPN tonight?
The ND/BC game looks nice and everything but when I switch over to the TT/OkState the HD is just eye popping!

Is anyone else experinencing the difference in quality?
