Hello everyone,
My uncle just got a brand new Sam Sung hd.tv. Not sure what the model is.
He also got a brand new pioneer receiver for he's home theater/blue ray player.
any how,we follow the instructions and hook it up correctly. We hook up the hdmi 1 from the t.v. to the receiver,optical cable from the t.v. to receiver,
and,blue ray to hdmi 2. Now,we hook up the vcr straight to the t.v. and it works great.but,when we pop in a blue ray movie we get no sound coming from our speakers. we also made sure,it was hook up right and they are.
Are we not doing some thing right? some one said to us we should only plug the hdmi from t.v. to the dvd player and let the player do the video work?

Kal, I think the most alarming thing about this may be that there are people that do understand the OP.:eek:

The OP is 26 and lives in "Souther" (sic) California, which I think might be a state of mind. One has to wonder if text messaging is the end of an effort at universal literacy or if we have significant numbers of adults that ceased to learn in about the 3rd grade.
