Mine should be coming next week so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks on it. I've been using an MX-600 for the past 3-4 years now and it's been a good little remote. I wonder how similar the 450 is to the older 600?
I just got one a few weeks ago. I'm still trying to figure it out. Can't seem to get the activities going.

I'm having the same issues with setting up activities. I assumed that after setting up each device, there'd be a way to set up each activity. every picture of the remote i've seen has activities listed on the "Main" screen, but all I get are my devices. I'm coming from an mx810, which I was less than pleased, and I have an mx350 in a bedroom that works really well, but lacks the "activities" option. I think I can re-do it all and set up activites instead of each device, but I'd like to have the option of both. ANy ideas?

When you say activities, you really mean you want macros (Watch Cable, Watch DVD, ect.), correct?

I know that this remote has macro capabilities, but in setting up the remote, the "Main" page is taken up by devices. I guess I can re-do my setup, with the individual devices on page 2, and then create macros for the activities on page 1.

For URC remotes i set mine up as in the same manner all the time. Devices that you should really have to fuss with (TV, Amps, etc.) i bury on page two or something and then the "activities" i keep on the first page. For example i add all my devices keeping cable, dvd, media server on the first page and put TV and amp on page two. I then build all my macros from there.
Hope that helps
