I spent the past couple of days looking locally for a decent cabinet to store my CD's and DVD's and haven't had much luck. Now I'm turning to the online vendors, but I'm leery about receiving a damaged item. Plus I know some of this "put it together yourself" furniture can be complete junk.

Can anyone recommend a good brand or online store for such an item.

I'm looking for something in this style and dimensions:
http://www.mediastoragecenter.com/Southern-Enterprises-MS1074-Oak-Windowpane-Cabinet.htm

OR

http://www.mediastoragecenter.com/Leslie-Dame-M-477O-Solid-Oak-Tall-Media-Storage-Cabinet.htm

Thanks!

I've seen the store www.racksandstands.com posted around here a couple of times.
They have a 7 out of 10 score with reseller ratings.com

Anyone have any experience with Racks and Stands.com?

[QUOTE=PannyMann;15042788]I prefer Leslie Dames line of stoarage cabinets. I have the 612 series and am VERY pleased with the solid oak construction. There is an Ebay store with high customer feedback called CSN Stores where I bought my cabinet. Of course the advantage with Ebay is that you can get 25% off using the Live Search option. Racksandstands happens to be a CSN store and I have no idea what the affiliation is but when I ordered though CSNs Ebay store, the unit came from racksandstands.

It all worked out fine for me. The order went through without a hitch, the cabinet arrived undamaged, it holds all of my stuff, I like the way it looks and I got the 25% cash back. What's not to like ?

Hope this helps.

I bought all of my stuff from them, no problems at all.

Thanks guys.

I have one more place I'm going to try out. It's an unfinished furniture place in my area. Everything there is hand built, real wood and they offer a good choice of stains and paint finishes.

One problem I have is finding something that will fit the corner I need to put it in. I'm limited to how wide it can be and everything I find elsewhere is either wide enough, but not very tall, or tall, but to wide. I know this place will also do custom work.

As you can imagine this is making finding what I want a little frustrating. If not I did see some of the Leslie Dame products that would work.

Thanks again,
Matt.
