I need to add 10-bit color depth capability to our EDID but I haven't been able to find where this info goes. I have the CEA-861-E spec but color depth is not mentioned at all.

Could someone tell me where the color depth info goes in the EDID or tell me where this info is specified?

It's in the HDMI Vendor Specific Data Block. This is not part of CEA-861, but rather part of the HDMI specification.
