Has anyone else noticed this? HD content from iTunes has a lot of tearing artifacts. You notice it most during camera pans. What's up with this? By comparison, WMV-HD samples from Microsoft don't have any tearing artifacts at all.

I've tried playing the iTunes HD files from my living room HDTV, my bedroom hdtv, and my laptop's own screen and I see the tearing on all three displays. Is this a widely acknowledged problem and if so, is there a solution?

What specific episodes of TV HD content are you seeing this on? Also what type of laptop do you have? H.264 is very CPU intensive and playback will artifact if you run out of juice.
