Hey AVS Forum,

After downloading some pictures recently to my media PC, I went to view them on my PS3 with the family only to find that I could not view any audio/video/pictures with WMP11. Additionally, I could view most of my pictures using TVersity, but audio and video files are not found. A few things:

1. I can see both media servers from my PS3 (TVersity and WMP11)
2. The last time I used my PS3 to stream all types of media (about a month ago), I was able to see all types of media files using TVersity and WMP11).
3. Since then, I messed with my firewall which I may have changed a setting...any particular ports/forwarding that needs to be open?
4. Currently, can see only some pictures with TVersity...audio/video files for TVersity are not showing up and using WMP11 no audio/video/pictures are showing up.

Any input you would be willing to share is appreciated. Thank you so much!

in my experienc that error has been caused by the firewall in my setups. Turn it off and see if everything works. then you can go about fixing it if that is the issue....

I tried turning off my firewall last night, and the problem continues. I have a WD 500 gig USB connected storage connected to my PC. From there I stream via my wired network to my PS3. I cannot see any files on my external USB storage anymore. However, when I move files to my local PC, I can see those files on my PS3. Thus, when using my PS3 to view files I can see media files stored locally on the PC using WMP11, but cannot see files on my external USB WD 500 gig drive. I'm experiencing the same issue when I use TVersity. Up until last week I was able to see all 7000+ files from my 500 gig drive. Thoughts?
