I went to went to watch a movie tonight and the HD6800 wouldn't display anything. The fan comes on slowly but sounds slower than normal and no picture whatsoever if I leave it long enough the lamp light will eventually blink amber. I never heard a pop, I pulled the lamp and I could smell an electrical burn smell from the pj and very faintly from the lamp. I checked the hours about 3 weeks ago and it was under 700 at that time, is this most likely the lamp then or is there something else I can try before I order a $400 lamp?

I read this thread, but my pj doesn't come on at all if that makes any difference.

Plus, there was the electrical burnt smell...
