HELP! ok, so here's the deal... I have a B&K AVR307 which is 7.1. I have a 5.1 setup which consists of JBL Studio L speakers (2 L890s for the front, 2 L820s for the rear, 1 LC2 for the center, and 1 L8400p for the sub)
The problem. I basically need a walkthru on how to set up a 5.1 on this 7.1 receiver. No matter what I do, I can't seem to make the sub work at all. It says sub: none on the receiver's display when I click on the controllers +sub button. I also am not sure how to properly wire the rear/surround speakers since theres 2 rear sets (4 total) I can wire them into. surround back left, right, and surround left, right. Currently they are wired into the receiver inputs labeled with "back". If anyone could take pictures if possible or explain to me how to properly wire it all up, I'd greatly appreciate it! If you need to know any further info, I could easily take photos for you as well. Please help so I can get this setup to work! -Disappointed Don
