I have a Marantz RC2001 remote. When I try and do the ir learning function not all commands take even though the LCD says learn OK. The commands that don't take are from various remotes that other commands from that remote did take. Repeated attempts don't help. All remotes have new batteries. Marrantz support is useless. I did download the wizz.it 3 software however the user guide seems to be written for someone who nows how to use the software.

What remotes are you teaching it? I know there are some known issues with Pioneer devices where the IR strings they use are just a PITA for some universal remotes to learn. You may be running into a similar problem.

The prolem so far is volume up and down from Velodyne remote, up and down from the remote that came with my block out shades, pause from my Denon universal player remote and some other funtions I have forgotten. I have no Pioneer remotes but may soon if I get a new plasma TV.
