I'll make this quick some times not all the time, but it seams to more frequent now. When I fireup the pearl it has sync issues it stabilizes but leaves a blue or aqua stripe at the left of the screen. If I shut down and restart which we all know isn't good for the bulb it goes away. Any ideas?

Contact the stor you got it from. They in turn should be able to get Sony onboard with an answer. I assume this unit has 2 years warranty so certaibly servicing isnt out of the question?

I saw something similar once: Left 5% of the screen had a vertical section where the colo was wrong. Like a couple of vertical sections of pixels were displaying incorrect color hues.

A restart fixed it, and it hasn't returned. That was ~500 hours ago...
