Shuttle about to Launch on HDNet!

Was just going to post this. About to run outside to see if we can see the shining star headed upward right after launch! Only 10 shuttle launches left.

Thanks for the heads up. I just logged on to the AVS Programming Forum with less than 9 minutes to launch !

That was quite a spectacular launch!

Was also in HD on CNN.

Always a disappointment at night on HDNet. They always go live with the camera that gets overwhelmed by dirt, dust, and light, so all that is seen is a big fireball. Later, they find an angle that shows a clean liftoff where the shuttle can be seen throughout, including the initial roll. I've seen it at least 3 times now. Why they can't pick the correct angle to go live with is a mystery. It's not as if the launchpad is in a different place everytime.
