Great band but Meatloaf him self is way, way past his best before date. I hope there is some quality film of his earlier concerts laying around.

If this is the same show HD.NET was broadcasting not too long ago, Meat is awful. Just a horrible performance. Out of key, out of time, and seemingly completely unaware.

Quick question: Since this is a UK import are any of the bonus features in SD/PAL, or is all presented in HD?

Also, is that the full (88 minutes) "Meat Loaf: In Search Of Paradise" documentary that I see listed in bonus features?

"Meat Loaf: In Search Of Paradise" documentary is in HD!;)

Is it the full doc? What about the rest of the bonus features? All in HD, too? Anything in PAL that won't play on my PS3 or BDP-S350?

Thanks, but you still aren't answering my questions fully.

Is it the full 88 minute version of the "In Search Of Paradise" documentary?

What format are the SD bonus features in: PAL or NTSC?

Can anyone tell me if this concert is as "Guitar" oriented as his Live in Melbourne DVD? I have that DVD, and although not a fan of Meat Loaf, the band rocks, and it was heavily centered around the two guitarists, Randy Flowers and Paul Crook.

Oh...and yes, I'm biased. Randy is my first cousin who got me into playing guitar.

He played that one on the Live at Melbourne DVD as well. I'm curious if it's the same Acoustic Piece. On the commentary of that DVD, Meat Loaf said he was asked why he made his tour so Guitar influenced, and he said it's because had two of the best guitarists he's ever seen. The piece Randy played on that tour, Meat Loaf said Randy was messing around on the Acoustic and played that RIF and Meat made him play it at the beginning of that song. I have not seen them live and I doubt they'll ever come to Charleston, WV...LOL. Randy's brother (Jerry Flowers- do a youtube search on him) is a magnificent singer, bass player, guitarist and bassist. He is the bassist, pianist and backup singer for Keith Urban. Too bad that it runs in the family, but stopped at theirs...LOL!!!!

From my prior experience with mixed content on import Blu-rays, I would guess that the SD bonus features would be in PAL and not playable here in the US. The reason for this is that if the 2nd disc is a Blu-ray disc, your US player will be able to read the menu and view the high def material but not the PAL SD material (this is very common on import Blu-rays. If the content is not in HD and the disc originates from a PAL country it's likely that you won't be able to watch the special features). You can't get around this with an all-region DVD player, since it won't be able to load the Blu-ray disc at all. Ultimately you would need a Blu-ray player that supports PAL in order to see the PAL SD content. Now if the 2nd disc is just a PAL disc (which would mean that the documentary is not high-def, either), then you would be able to play that in any all region DVD player that supports PAL.

Hope this helps. I am going to be ordering the disc (since it's been largely confirmed that the Blu-ray is not region locked) so I could let you know for sure in a couple of weeks.

Damn, I forgot all about this thread. confused1 - thanks. I actually ordered the disc shortly after I last posted in this thread, months ago. All SD bonus materials are playable on my PS3.
