Chicago @ Green Bay looks terrible, especially the main 20/50/20 yard cams. Heavy artifacting, dancing grass.

WJW-DT Cleveland OTA, no subchannels. 50" 1080p plasma display.

Detroit at Carolina on WJBK via Comcast in Detroit, looks ok, not as sharp as the CBS game.

I'm glad i'm not the only seeing that compression. Must be do to the fact of a lower bitrate while broadcasting 4 other games. The Buck/Aikman games are usually the exception of poor FOX broadcasts. Not today.

Panny commercial - TH50PF9UK

PQ seems a bit better on the NFLST Red Zone Channel when they showed the last Bears drive. The other Fox games with the exception of the Chiefs game look good on NFLST.

Does the GB game look any better since the last commercial break?

Watching on D* on Sunday Ticket/Superfan from Sacramento, CA. Maybe I'm just not use to seeing Fox games (die-hard Chiefs fan--stop laughing :(). But this HD picture is horrible. The sideline camera appears as if it has an astigmatism--and they only had one goal-line camera (which might have cost the Chiefs a TD on that review--if there had been a camera on the other side--I think it would have been obvious the ball crossed the goal line). No where near the quality of any of the CBS games. How is it that Fox Sports Net produces much better HD games than Fox?

Just for fun i switched to the OTA broadcast which i thought for sure would show a difference. Nope, looks equally hideous, there is something very noticably wrong with the Green Bay broadcast. Maybe it can be ironed out during halftime.

Bears-Packers is seeing ~12Mb/s average, though it falls to 8 or less when there isn't a lot of motion. With this low of a bitrate, it's no surprise that the PQ is poor.

Here in Chicago, picture quality of Chi/GB is horrible. The only picture that can be considered acceptable is the the zoom in on a single player from the sideline cameras. Otherwise lots of swimming grass and blurry players. Same as what others have seen. WFLD OTA.

That bitrate is not the only reason people are seeing a difference in the game from Green Bay.

What the hell - WJW Cleveland switched from the CHI/GB game (with 8 minutes to go) to the MIN/TB game ...

I wish they would switch to the Detroit/Carolina game here. I don't think Chicago is going to mount a comeback at this point.

This may be a first, someone asking to be switched to a Lions game.

And as expected, the Lions don't disappoint, with Culpepper throwing right into a Carolina defenders arms, and Carolina scoring on the very next play. End of story.

Yea, I shouldn't have got my hopes up. I have seen them blow enough games in the final 5 min that I should know better then to think they could drive down and take the lead.

Packers-Bears PQ is good OTA here in Colorado. Only problem is either Fox or local dropping HD to SD fairly often. Usually just for a minute or so, but very irritating especially since this station raises the audio 5-10db when they go to SD.

The Worst Call I've Ever Seen.
Tried to give the game with no time left to the Bengals.....this years NFL referee's have been putrid and dispicable.
Never even touched him with his helmet, but it is ANOTHER leading with the helmet penalty.

The NFL has gone WAY too overboard with this nancy stuff.

Oh and that was the worst football game I've ever watched.

They should not let games end in a tie. They should continue to play until someone scores like in the playoffs. Or maybe have a FG shootout.
You play hard for 5 quarters, someone should come out of this with a win.

LOL at McNabb for not knowing ties were a possibility in the NFL.
