I'm new to camcorders, and especially new to editing movies. Can anyone recommend some good movie editing software -- preferably free or cheap? I've got Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP, and it's functional, but I'm sure there's better software available.

Keep in mind that I don't need production-quality work. I just want to edit some takes together, and add some voice-overs. If it's possible, I'd like to be able to draw on the video -- circles and stuff, so I can point out certain things. And maybe be able to stabilize the image if it's shaky.

Anyone? If this topic has been discussed to death previously, perhaps you can give me some search times so I can find those threads. Thanks!
