View Full Version : Comcast/Motorola DCH6416 Problem

Hey guys...this is the second time this problem has occurred with this box and its starting to get a little frustrating. Eventually it seems the box starts to lose signal and the regular channels start to get snowy. Then the HD channels go out saying it should be available shortly and they never come on. The guide doesn't work saying all the channels are "to be announced". The DVR and OnDemand also say unavailable. Also you cannot pause, ff, or rewind live tv it doesnt work. The time on the box also reads 12:00 and never changes.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I could fix it?

Last time I took it to the Comcast office and she reprogrammed it? Because when they sent a signal to it it pretty much fried it and would not show anything.

You have a weak signal. Get Comcast to solve the problem with your signal strength.
