Hi all,

I am hoping you can help me.

I need a camcorder that will record to a media that I can deliver to an editor (not HD MiniDV but SDHC) and us as a webcam to stream to ustream.tv at the same time using the DV (ieee) port.
I am looking at a Canon vr930 or HV30..

I am recording interviews and streaming them live at the same time using ustream or something similar.

Thanks!
Matt

The only camcorders which have had IEEE 1394, DV, commonly called Firewire or i.Link has been the Digital8, MiniDV, HDV, and some of the JVC Hard Disk Drive MPEG-2 camcorders..

I do not know what a "Canon vr930" is. Please enlighten me.

The Canon HV30 is a High Definition Video (HDV) camcorder which records onto the MiniDV format tapes. It uses FireWire to transfer the video. The SD card capability is for still photos only.

Does that help?
