ok my current system is as follows
fronts = polk R30
Rears = Polk R10
Center = Polk CS1
Sub = Sony SA-wms230(crapy HTIB sub)
being pushed by an onkyo 706

so what i am looking at is either getting an ED A2 - 250 or possibily a 300

or getting a velodyne dps-10 for $210 and spend the rest on blu-rays...

Basically think its worth the extra 100-150 for the ED sub or will the dps-10 suit me good enough?

80/20 HT/Gaming will be the use for the sub
room is roughly 12X20

SVS PB-10 or PB-12...

Maybe even the new PC-12...

I would try and save up that is a big room. I would think about the 750 range. The sub makes the home theater experience.

Yeah I would buy as much as you can possibly afford. While you are looking at it now as, "Save some money on the sub=spend more on Blu-rays", you should really be looking at it as "Buy the best sub I can buy now=protect myself from upgradeitis in the future".
