EDIT: My first VGP awards post were the projector awards for camera related use, which explains why the Canon SX80 (http://cweb.canon.jp/projector/lineup/sx80/index.html) won the Gold prize with a 1450 x 1050 3000 lumens LCOS projector. I didn't even know Canon made projectors... (They also have a 1920×1200 3,200 lumens projector (http://cweb.canon.jp/projector/lineup/wux10/index.html)?)
Anyway, while those Canon projectors probably aren't designed for the type of use that 95% would have, it was kind of interesting to learn they exist.
I also thought it was interesting to see the Sanyo place ahead of the Epson with no mention of the Panasonic in this category. (The Panasonic is the most expensive of the three here here in Japan, while the Epson is the least expensive.)
