We ordered this TV from amazon early last week WITH a blu ray player for about $1800. Well it came today. A hell of a deal if you ask me. Out of the box the picture looks great but i was wondering if someone has calibrated one of these before and has the settings for it.

sorry, i didnt know there would be that much variation.

There's no need to be sorry. Just go to the right section of the forum to share settings. Or, you can stay here and learn how to calibrate your display properly. That's the only way to be assured of reliable results.
