Hello everyone this is my first post. I posted at the wrong forum (HD) I hope this is the right one. What I posted there is as follows;
I am hopefully getting a Panasonic TH-42pz 800U in the spring when I can afford one. Also, I will be looking to replace my old Pioneer/analog tuner only/ dvd recorder.(dvd tray doesn't open anymore.) From my research, there doesn't seem to be an affordable dvd recorder that has everything I want or on the US market yet. The few new updated dvd recorders that are here are too expensive. Maybe recorders are not the wave of the future, but I like having a all in one unit that does everything. Are there any quality (somewhat affordable) dvd recorders with a digital tuner/hard drive/electric program guide that will work from this spring 2009 till whenever the new technology is availabe and affordable in the United States?
