Hi all. So I just recently bought a JAG35 35mm adapter but as hard as I'm trying, I'm having a very difficult time capturing w/the image display inverted. Does anyone know of some sort of a custom firmware for the SR-11/12 maybe that will give me the option to invert the display?
I saw some posts on how to hack the HC7, the and the HV20/30s. But is there one for the SR11? I saw a hack that used a magnet but I'm afraid to use that on the SR11 because of the HDD. If someone could point me the right way, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Unless you buy a external monitor there is no way to flip the image without physically modifying your camcorder (which I DONT recommend)
there is no software nor firmware that can accomplish this

Dang. I'd be willing to modify my hardware if there was a guide. I wish this was as popular as the HV20/30's. I can verify the 'magnet' hack. I placed a small magnet (disc, about the size of a dime) to the right side of the LCD when it's open and it' flips the image. However, the picture on the LCD is a mirror image where left is right, right is left. Still a huge pain, but at least it's not completely upside down!

Yea...you can do the same with my HF11 because if you flip the screen around it allows you to get it almost 180 degrees and it flips the image...but you have to stand in front of the came to get the image to be flipped....
I think the right being left and visa versa is harder to correct than up and down ..lol

I am not sure if the LCD hinge is the same as the HC7. But I do know that the HC1 and the HC9 is the same. Go to my blog www.gt35pro.blogspot.com.
The instructions are at the bottom of the page.
