I am having a problem getting my HF10 to playback on my Panasonic plasma HDTV via the HDMI connection. The TV screen is just black. I've replaced the HDMI cable and I've even replaced the camera and I still have the same problem. I've talked to both Panasonic and Canon and they were not helpful.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or does anyone know of any reason why this might be happening? Is there a setting I need to change? I think I've tried everything, but it just doesn't make sense. It works fine with the component video connection.

Works fine on my Panasonic 58PZ700U.

do you have it(TV) on the right source? I.E. HDMI 1/HDMI 2? If applicable do you have your reciever set to TV?Video 1? I know you probably have these set right but I have done this trying to get stuff that I hooked up to work and it was as simple as having the source channel on the right thing.
