I don't think they are available yet, but when they are and if the camcorder will even recognize it as 64gb; it would be redundant to use one. If, for something like a Canon HF11, that would be near 6 hours on the highest MXP setting vs. near 3 hours with a 32 gb. Is there really a situation where you would be shooting for 3 hours straight and wouldn't have a minute to swap out the 32gb card for another one? I guess I could see that someone might want to keep some files on a card for backup; but that can all be done on the pc. When they are available, they're going to be really expensive. You would be able to use that money towards a second camcorder. And if you lost that tiny card; you've lost all the data and the money it cost. NJ3118 11-19-08, 08:43 AM the card will cost just as much as the camera itself.....get a bunch of 16GB or even the over priced 32GB cards will work the camera wont accept 64GB i dont think quietmouse 11-21-08, 05:27 PM the card will cost just as much as the camera itself.....get a bunch of 16GB or even the over priced 32GB cards will work the camera wont accept 64GB i dont think they cheapest 32GB card that I've found was at Costco. It's a PNY 32GB SDHC card, class 4, and Costco's price is $119 delivered. I'll probably just get a couple of those 32GB cards. :) NJ3118 11-21-08, 09:36 PM they cheapest 32GB card that I've found was at Costco.
