I have a complete Paradigm Reference system which includes Studio 100s v3 CC 470, Studio 20v4 and Servo 15 sub. I want to mate another sub with this system, however the price of another servo 15 new,or the prices i have seen used are out of the budget. Is there a sub out there for the right price that is compatible to this paradigm reference system? All input is graciously appreciated.

What is you Servo 15 not providing that you are looking for? Are you looking for more bass or more coverage? Are you planning on crossing the subs over seperately? IE buying a "midbass" sub and using the servo 15 for the real low end? Are you planning on stacking them? Only reason I ask is that multiple subs can get tricky due to cancellation issues.

Lastly... you may have better luck putting this thread over in the subwoofer section.

The Servo 15 I have does a great job most of the time. I am curious to see if more is better. I want to completely fill the room up with bass when the explosion or big bang sound comes up. Yes I do believe that mid -bass is lacking. This may just be an expensive experiment, so im asking questions before I dive in wallet first.

Have you tried to measure what is going on?

Todd Welti (from Harman) has a white paper (http://www.harman.com/wp/pdf/multsubs.pdf)on this very question.
