Hello

I am new here, so hello to everyone.

I have a Sony HC90E and want to buy an external microphone. Unfortunately the HC90E has a special "hot shoe" which you have to use to attach external microphones and this of course limits the mics' you can use to the crappy ones sold by Sony. I was wondering is there any decent mics sold to fit the hot shoe or alternatively is there any adapters that are sold that allow you to use other types of mics? Please note the HC90E does not have XLR inputs or even an audio jack.

You can use a standard microphone by getting the Sony External Mic adapter (VMC-K100). If you can find one.
