I have been looking into getting a popper and wondering if anyone has any experience with paramount poppers? I see a few on amazon at a pretty decent price.

I am looking at picking up one of the 6oz units:D

What makes you think they are used?
Those are listed as new when I view them.
and, are strikingly similar to the Discount Tommy Great American Popcorn Machines! :-0
Does anyone know where I can get theater drink cups that go with the Paramount Popper?

I might have to buy one of those. Very good price compared to the TPs.

I did notice they were listed as new once you click on the 1 used link. Something tells me that you should go with another brand at least until you know more about
"Paramount Poppers". I know this sounds crazy but I'm wondering who the seller is?
This appears to be the manufacturer of the 4oz popper "Waring Pro"

Found this info on an Amazon link on one of the popper pages.

The hammacher popper looks identical to the Amazon seller's popper minus the artwork

I just sent the seller an email for more info about these....I'll post what he says. I did go through his feedback and from the ones that I could find about the poppers, they were positive
I saw what looks like the same machine on e**y from a seller with good ratings. With the live.com 25% rebate the price is just over one hundred dollars. I don't have room for one now and currently use a stir crazy but at this price I've got to think long and hard about this one.

I just got my Paramount popper yesterday and it works great. The construction is good and it seems to be a sturdy unit. I guess only time will tell how well it truly holds up but it was as nice as any other units of comparable size. Says it has a 5 year warranty as well but you know how those things go.
Purchased mine from here.
www.keepitpoppin.com
Price was $139.00 for the 4 ounce kettle with free shipping on the machine only.
I also purchased some of the pre-packaged popcorn and oil and they charged shipping.
Had everything in 3 days. Hope this helps someone.
bub72zk,
I don't know anything about those poppers, but I did like that the website had a "parts" section.

I agree. It seems that anything can be replaced should it break. I found the same machine on eBay but this website had free shipping and all the parts as you mentioned before. I also looked at the WaringPro machine but it was $200.
